How To Enjoy A Life With Huge Amounts Of Debts?

By Edwood Woodward

Desire is a trait that distinguishes man from other species. Being social animals, our wants are not limited to survival only, we desire home, we desire comforts, and we desire luxuries. Fulfilment of these yearnings is not free of cost. Most of the time this cost is more than what we can afford. Our income and assets, at times cannot realise the price of our wants.

We are not trying to criticise you here. It is true that it is for him/her that most of us sometimes go beyond our available resources. one cannot forget that as adults we are committed to fulfill large number of responsibilities. For example, mortgages, automobile lease, and college funds are something; we have to go beyond our available resources in order to pay them.

The existing monetary tools, a huge range of credit cards, car loans, and house financing programmes, etc. have made this easy for us to pay even when one has no physical money to afford such luxuries. Everybody tends to survive an in debt life at present, that wants him to carry out more hard work, for longer periods. Nowadays the speed of life is more than the velocity of light.

Nevertheless, at the same time, something that is being ignored by us is the quality of life. You cannot determine and describe the quality of life by the style and model of your car, or the number of rooms in your house. Rather quality of life is directly reflected by the pleasure that one gets from a life that is being spent well with loved ones.

Do not let the burdens of debt and liabilities stop you from living a full life. Take time out to relax, and enjoy. It does not imply that you should ignore your responsibilities altogether, only just dedicate some moments of your time to thoughts and activities, which do not include any reference to your liabilities.

You can spend at least one hour of your day in reading a book or magazine of your choice, this is also important to sit, and relax with your family, or go out for a romantic walk with your spouse would be great too. Make sure that you must put aside your liabilities and debts during that time of the day.

Try to go out at least once a month on a picnic, a nature walk, or just for a cup of coffee with your family. It is a rather inexpensive yet an enjoyable activity. Again, during this time, try to keep your mind free of the thoughts of financial burdens. It not as difficult, as you might think. All you have to do is to observe the vista all around you, and try to live in that particular moment. The favourite mantra of many people is 'I have the rest of my life to worry'. Try repeating that to yourself. It may help.

Researches reveal that everyone need at least one holiday in a year. During holiday, one must do what interests them. It is necessary to accept that our liabilities are a part of life, and we must not keep ourselves away from our friends, family, and loved ones for these debts, and liabilities. - 29866
